Content Partner Booking Process & Creative Specifications

  • ntl allocates media for marketing within the digital TV interactive services one month in advance.
  • Content Partners must deliver to ntl their advertising creatives for banners, datagems and interstitials (as appropriate) no later than 15th of the month prior to the month of the advertising activity.
  • If Content Partners fail to deliver any creative to ntl by the 15th deadline, they risk losing their media allocation for the following month.
  • If ntl has Content Partner advertising creative on file it may use this, if no new creative is submitted.
  • Allocation of media is at the discretion of ntl unless otherwise stated in the Agreement.

    Advertising Creative Specifications.

    Advertising creative must adhere to the specifications below.

    Banner

  • Size = 265 x 65 pixels
  • max weight = 12k
  • If reference to Fast Text Key call to action used, this must refer to yellow key gif or animated gif
  • No flash or HTML coding
  • Max 5 frames app. 2 sec per frame. Final frame must be the “Brought to you by ntl:home”. If you wish to amend the background colour of the gif, this must be signed off by ntl.

  • Datagems

  • Size = 240x290 pixels
  • Max weight = 17k
  • Max gif (NOT animated gif)
  • Call to action 'Select Here' or 'Select This'

  • Interstitial

  • max weight = 20K
  • Size = 302 X 243
