Design using a TV

Connect the TV to the PC with a SCART connection. You can either use a PC to VGA converter or, if you have TV-Out on your PC graphics card you can connect directly to a TV.

Develop using the emulator

Liberate's DTV Navigator Set-top Emulator (Emmy) emulates the software on the set-top box; in particular the effects of the DTV Transcoding servers.
However, it is not a standalone application. To use this software you will need to connect over the Internet to the development DTV servers (security, transcoding and proxy servers) located at ntl.

Develop using a set-top box

If you have an agreement with ntl to supply a repurposed website for the dtv platform, you can apply to have an ethernet STB which connects to the development Liberate suite located at ntl.
