Local head-ends contain the Liberate DTV servers (we are currently upgrading these from Liberate 1.1 to 1.2)

The Proxy server:
Improves performance by Caching translated content received from the Transcode Translator server
Acts as internet proxy for all HTTP/HTTPS requests

The key concerns here are with your Cache management strategy; and working with our caching system to minimise network traffic and maximise performance. The cache on the live system is set to a default 6 hours.

When sites are live ntl provide log analysis of traffic through these servers to Partners. These are ABCe compliant.
