Content is hosted by you, as the Content Partner and accessed by DTV users across the internet as normal. The Host system architecture should conform to the same major conventions as for hosting a PC Website.

You will need to provide ntl with the domain name’s for all your re-purposed content. These will be added to our whitelist which allows TV Internet users access to your site.

• Supply ntl with the domain name for your LIVE DTV Internet site
• Document for ntl any other domains which are also used during navigation through your site (e.g. sub-domains, https://, urls for ad banners, cgi queries etc.)
• Host your service on a virtual server, our preferred url would be http://ntl.sitename.com/ or http://ntl.sitename.co.uk/
• Use an ISP who is a member of LINX (The London Internet Exchange)
• No IP Filtering on Content Partner servers – ntl cannot provide Content Partners with IP filtering information.
• Avoid complex server-side redirects
