ntl Functional Testing

ntl functional testing will commence once the following have been done:

  • Site successfully passes ntl review stages.
  • Your own testing and bug fixing has been completed (use ntl test sheet).
  • You have implemented a complete code freeze (i.e. no more development work taking place).

Once the site passes functional testing, the Content Delivery Manager will have to have get the necessary signoffs from all involved and concerned parties for the site to go live, See "make it live" for more details.
When the site has been signed off, the integration test takes place (see below).

    ntl Integration Testing

This will usually take place the day before the estimated date of publishing.
Integration testing ensures that your site works within the walled garden portal environment, and is the last sign off process prior to going live on the platform.
We test that the Partner has provided all the url's to enable full access to their live service, and the performance of the site integrated within the TV Internet portal.
Once the changes pass Integration testing it will be published.

Check your site against the DTV design checklist and our generic test script, which can be found in the "downloads" section.
